PsaraLicense for Uttar Pradesh : The Private Security Agencies (Regulations) Act, 2005 has been introduced for a body or people or person along with government agency, organization or department which is engaged in business of offering private security services, such as training to security guards or supervisors or allotting security guards to any business or industrial undertaking or company or any other property or person.

Criteria and verification for forming private security agencies
Every person who wants to start a private security agency should apply to the concerning authority for the matter of renewal or fresh license with details for verification of antecedents. If applicant is a firm, company or association of people, the application must be accompanied with details of majority shareholder or proprietor, director or partner of the company.

In the Uttar Pradesh Private Security Agencies Rules, 2009, there are certain eligibility criteria that should be laid down which should be maintained. Security guard should meet certain physical standards to be hired by agency in that position.

Compliances to meet for private security agencies
Private security agency should comply with all the regulations and rules which are laid in Private Security Agencies (Regulations) Act, 2005 to work well. Agency which gets the license should issue to its guards a photo id proof which will offer identification details of the individual.
